Terms and conditions

These terms apply to every enrolment in Quran Hafiz Academy lessons, [company name], RCCM [number], Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

1. Lessons

One-to-one online lessons in Quran reading, Tajweed and memorisation, 20 or 30 minutes long, on Google Meet. The first trial lesson is free with no commitment.

2. Enrolment and packages

Enrolment is confirmed once the chosen package is paid. Packages are monthly or quarterly and include the number of lessons per week shown.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the website, per student per month. Payment is made in advance by Mobile Money, bank or money transfer, or card. Family and quarterly discounts cannot be combined unless stated otherwise. [to confirm]

4. No refunds

Payments are non-refundable, including if lessons stop during the month.

5. Rescheduling and cancellations

• A student can reschedule a lesson with at least 24 hours’ notice on WhatsApp.
• A lesson missed without notice within that time counts as taken.
• A lesson cancelled by the teacher is always rescheduled.
• Unused lessons do not carry over to the next month. [to confirm]

6. Changing teacher

If a teacher is not the right fit, the student or parent can request another teacher for free.

7. Children

For children under 6, a parent must be present during the lesson. A minor is enrolled by a parent or guardian.

8. Conduct

Students and teachers commit to mutual respect. Every teacher signs a code of conduct. The academy may suspend access in case of inappropriate behaviour.

9. Connection

Students are responsible for their own internet connection and device. A lesson interrupted by a connection problem on the academy’s or teacher’s side is rescheduled.

10. Changes

The academy may change these terms and its prices. Price changes apply from the next renewal.

Information we collect

• Name, WhatsApp number, country and time zone
• Student’s age, chosen programme and availability
• Payment details needed for confirmation (amount, date, reference)
• Progress reports

How we use it

This information is only used to organise lessons, track progress, confirm payments and contact you. We do not sell it.

Tools we use

We use WhatsApp to communicate, Google Meet for lessons and payment providers. The website may use analytics tools and the Meta pixel to measure the effectiveness of our ads. [list to complete]

Retention and your rights
